中国国际航空公司推迟北韩首都新航线 (Air China Delays New Route to North Korean Capital)

中国的航空公司中国国际航空公司推迟启动飞往北韩首都平壤的新定期航线，强调这一推迟与北韩核裁军进程没有任何联系。

中国国际航空公司星期三表示，已经把开通新航线的时间推迟到今年3月。该航空公司计划在北京与平壤之间每星期飞行三个航班。

公司官员说，繁忙的航班日程导致这一拖延，并否认拖延与“政治”或者有关北韩核武器项目的六方会谈有联系。

北韩曾承诺在2007年年底之前废除其主要核设施的功能，但没有在截止日期前兑现承诺。北韩也没有在同一日期之前提供其核活动的详细清单。

Chinese carrier Air China has delayed the launch of a new regular route to the North Korean capital, Pyongyang, insisting the move was not linked to the North's nuclear disarmament process.

Air China said Wednesday that it had postponed the opening of the new route until March. The airline plans to fly three days a week between Beijing and Pyongyang.

Company officials said a busy flight schedule had triggered the delay and denied it had anything to do with "politics" or the six-party talks over North Korea's nuclear weapons programs.

North Korea had pledged to disable its main nuclear complex before the end of 2007, but it failed to reach that deadline. It also failed to produce a detailed list of its nuclear activities by the same date.

报告：中国2008年将出现连续第六年两位数增长 (Report: China to See Sixth Year of Double Digit Growth in 2008)

中国政府所属一家研究机构说，中国经济2008年将出现两位数增长，但是报告补充说，消费通货膨胀应当稍微有减轻。

中国国家信息中心的报告说，2008年中国国内生产总值预计会增长10.8%，比去年估计的11.4%的增长率有所下降。

报告还说，2008年通货膨胀率预计在4.5%左右，略低于2007年创下的10年来最高的4.7%的通胀率。

A Chinese government research institute says the country's economy will see double-digit growth in 2008, but the report adds that consumer price inflation should ease slightly.

The report by China's State Information Center said the gross domestic product is expected to expand by 10-point-eight percent in 2008, down from last year's estimated growth of 11-point-four percent.

The report also said that inflation is expected to run about four-point-five percent for 2008, down from a decade-high four-point-seven percent in 2007.
