泰官员称前总理若回国将被逮捕 (Thai Officials Say Former PM Will be Arrested if He Returns Home)

泰国官员说，被推翻的前总理他信如果返回泰国，将会被以腐败和欺诈罪逮捕。星期四，泰国总检察长办公室的高级官员对记者说，他信和他的妻子如果回国将被收押，因为当局已经发出逮捕令。

军方任命的继任他信总理的政府针对他的腐败指称展开了几项调查。

Officials in Thailand say ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra will be arrested on corruption and fraud charges if he returns to the country. A senior official at Thailand's Office of the Attorney General told reporters Thursday that both Mr. Thaksin and his wife would be taken into custody if they return because warrants have already been issued for their arrest.

The military-appointed government that succeeded Mr. Thaksin has launched several investigations into his alleged corruption. 

华盛顿州农郊地区六人死亡 (Six People Found Dead in Rural Washington State)

美国西北地区的华盛顿州当局说，西雅图市郊外一处乡村住房内发现6名死者，其中包括一名6岁女孩和一个3岁男童。一名男子和一名妇女因涉嫌这起杀人案被逮捕。当局说，案件发生在星期一。

调查人员说，死者的一名同事星期三发现了这些尸体，这6人看来是中弹身亡。

官员们排除了合并自杀的可能，但是说生活在附近的人没有危险。枪杀的动机还不清楚。这6名死者据信是一家三代。

Authorities in the northwestern U.S. state of Washington say six people, including two children (a six-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy), have been found dead at a rural property outside the city of Seattle. A man and woman have been arrested in the killings, which authorities say happened on Monday.

Investigators say one of the victims' co-workers discovered the bodies Wednesday and that the six appeared to have been shot.

Officials have ruled out murder-suicide but say there is no danger to anyone living near the scene. The motive for the shooting remains unclear. The six were believed to be three generations of one family.
